DESGIN WORK FOR ARKADIUM 2021
A collection of work from my internship with Arkadium
Arkadium is a company that designs casual games for an older demographic. I very much admire what they do because it brings a lot of joy to a demographic that is too often forgotten. Working directly under the senior designer, I was given the freedom to explore my many different interests in design, as well as collaborate with different departments such as marketing, game design, and website development. I am so grateful for the trust and responsibility they placed in me, including allowing me to work directly with major clients such as ITV and INSP. Overall, my experience with Arkadium taught me a lot about team work, responsibility, and the experience of being an in house designer.

VIDEO TUTORIALS
In my time at Arkadium the marketing team started producing tutorial videos. I was absolutely thrilled when they invited me to edit, animate, and create thumbnails for these videos. So far I have created four tutorial videos, accumulating over 15,000 views on YouTube alone. You can check out the rest of my videos over on this playlist!

During the summer of 2021 the Arkadium website had its first themed takeover based on the idea of endless summer. The design was inspired by 60s Summer nostalgia to appeal to our target demographic. I was able to participate in the entire process of this takeover, from research, pitching to stakeholders, to design and implementation. In the end, my logo designs were selected for the takeover and I designed additional collateral for the site, including banners and updated game icons.
