LECTURE SERIES VISUALIZERS 2020
.png)
Dynamic visualizers for a series of astronomy lectures.
In high school I spent two years operating a planetarium at a children’s science museum. After watching the same shows hundreds of times, I became very interested in the way that visual artists are able to take complex scientific concepts and make them accessible to children. For this project, I created engaging motion graphics to advertise a series of lectures that I curated from across the internet. I simplified the concepts of the lectures by using imagery that most people would recognize from their childhood science classes. By drawing people in with familiar imagery, I hoped to invoke the childlike wonder that we all feel about the universe.
